  1. So, the GoPro HERO11 Black vs HERO13 Black comparison… I’m curious about the low-light performance. My old GoPro’s night shots were…let’s just say, ‘artistic interpretations’ of reality. Has the low-light capability improved significantly in the HERO13? I’m considering an upgrade, but only if the night vision is genuinely better.

    1. The low-light performance has indeed seen improvements from the HERO11 to the HERO13. The HERO13 boasts a larger sensor and improved image processing algorithms, leading to noticeably reduced noise and improved detail in low-light conditions. However, ‘significantly better’ is subjective. While the difference is measurable, the ultimate improvement will depend on your expectations and specific shooting conditions. Factors such as ISO settings, available ambient light, and scene complexity will still influence the final image quality. Consider reviewing sample footage shot in similar low-light environments to gauge if the improvement meets your needs.
